Casa Oblivio, of M.O.B. Design Studio, is a project inspired by lived experiences and memories, a single -story house in Kato Deftera, suburban Nicosia. It integrates subtly into the landscape of valleys and open plains, embedded in light, air and the immaterial. The architectural design focuses on scale, form, intermediary spaces, orientation, introspection, and typological and morphological adaptation, creating a dwelling where memory spatially meets oblivion beneath the Mediterranean sky. The project attempts to spatially articulate the encounter between memory and oblivion. The house does not intrude upon the land; it integrates into it, accepting the site as its protagonist.
