    UNIHALLS TRINITY

The student residences, known as Trinity UniHalls, designed by Eraclis Papachristou Architects, and completed in 2018, consist of three identical volumes which are rotated against each other and in accordance with the site geometry. This creates a series of in-between spaces that are unique in themselves.
A key architectural element is the elevated slab, which forms the roof of the ground floor facilities. To the same effect there are bridges that evolve out of the circulation cores and terraces at various levels. The identity of the project is the bold and consistent system of railing, cladding and enclosure serves to lend the definition of volumes an intriguing fluidity of occasional solid, stuttering transparency and overriding rhythm.

    FUELHOUSE BOUTIQUE FITNESS CLUB

The FuelHouse Boutigue Fitness Club, designed by MOB Design Studio transforms a 600m2 underground space in the urban core of Nicosia, formerly a nightclub, into a contemporary fitness environment. Entry is at ground level, where glazed surfaces with coloured films create a continuously shifting composition of light and colour in response to the visitor’s movement. A 25-metre corridor with a sloped ceiling engages scale and perspective, leads downwards to the gym areas while simultaneously organizing the program. Acoustics, lighting, and materiality revealed during demolition collectively shape the overall spatial experience.

    OLYMPIC HOUSE AND PARK

The Olympic House and Park in Nicosia is the result of an architectural competition, designed by architects Eleftheria Sergidou and Vassilis Pasiourtides. The project expresses the Olympic ideal by combining not only a building but also a park, where historical memory, universality, and the unity of body and mind are translated into space. A central feature is the internal atrium, which organizes circulation and enhances transparency, while the interpenetration of natural and built environments creates a unified spatial experience.
